Growing up in rural North Bengal and moving to Kolkata deeply shaped my view. I found a surprising link between these two worlds in ordinary tin sheets. Their surfaces, catching light and shadow, reflect the dramatic shift from quiet countryside to busy city. When I paint these familiar metal forms up close, they transform, revealing unexpected beauty. My work explores finding deeper meaning in the everyday, blurring the line between reality and abstraction.
