Artist’s Note

My paintings draw from the world around us. I deconstruct local scenes, placing them in a surreal, parallel space. Each piece converses with you, inviting you to see your world differently. My work explores our ties to places and people, showing how we connect while sometimes feeling alone. Shadows fascinate me, feeling more real than forms themselves. This idea of crossed paths on individual journeys guides my art. I often mix media on canvas or paper. Experimenting with materials like safety pins or tea leaves adds unique touches. Space matters in my compositions, always pushing towards new ideas.
